Suggestion for an everyday tool watch...

    Hi everyone,

I just bought a Sinn 104 on a strap and I absolutely love it.

That said, I've got the itch now and so I am currently on the search for an "everyday" tool/diver at a similar price point to the Sinn 104.

Based on my preliminary research, I'm targeting either a Fortis Cosmonautis (Non-Chrono), Tag Heuer Aqua Racer or an Oris Aquis. I'm keen on keeping the original piece in tact (ie. on its original bracelet)... although my Sinn 104 will get plenty of strap options due to its versatility.

I'd like your opinions as to which I should choose from my current choices, or if you have any other suggestions that would fit the profile, please feel free to let me know.

FYI... I'm an accountant by trade although I would characterize my style as smart casual on an everyday basis even when dealing with clients so any other suggestions that would suit are most welcome!

    Thanks in advance,

    Norm

You gave no budget? Did you check out Sinn Divers? Do you really want a diver, if you just want that style you should also check out Damasko.

Sorry guys... I should mention that I'm looking to invest up to $1500 on this next piece.

I just added the Aquis and love it. Actually goes well with a button down...

Bernhardt Field Diver. (under budget, nice quartz w/ sapphire and timing bezel) or

Hamilton Khaki Mechanical (hand-wound) or Khaki Automatic

    Archimede Outdoor or Sportaucher

Victorinox INOX (many variations from which to choose) Other Victorinoxes are kind of toolish too.

I don't think you need to spend anywhere near $1k for a good tool watch, and if you did, you wouldn't use it as a tool watch.

I bought a Rado captain cook 5 days ago, its a fantastic time piece, 80 hours of power reserve, it has a lovely ceramic bezel, black face easy to read and accuracy is 00.05 SPD which is incredible its a great buy.Name: fullsizeoutput_ba7.jpeg
