Suggestion for new Brand Forum on WUS - MKII Watches

I think a MKII forum would be a great thing. Bill makes tremendous watches, has a good following and deserves a brand forum here. Thoughts and opinions welcomed.

i agree. i also think marathon deserves its own forum as well. both of them get lost in the dive watch/ pil/mil forums.

MKII watches as well as Marathon watches are pretty well covered by our PilMil forum. I don't see the need for two or more new fora.

    +1 !
The problem with a separate Forum is that you miss a lot, unless you specifically check it.
Just like I do with Stowa.
Unfortunately, my "browsing time" is limited, can not check them all!

Precista/Speedbird would be more justified than MKII, but Mike & Janne are right, P&M covers both and there are wayyyy too may fora already.....

I think it would be interesting to have an indie forum where newer and smaller companies like MKII, Boschette and Time Factors can be discussed.

I find MkII and Boschett covered quite well in existing forums (Affordables, Dive, and Pilot-Mil). Timefactors actually has their own forum (TZ-UK).
    Lots of dive watches.

I am a big fan of MKII (have 3) but..No separate forum... MKII watches are discussed very actively on dive & PIL/MIL fora and that's good...I like the variety on those fora.

Re: Suggestion for new Brand Forum on WUS - MKII Watches

Separating too many brands into different forums limits the exposure of those brands on the broader forums. Until MkII and Marathon come out with many new models such that discussions revolve around more than a few models, I think it would serve the community as a whole to discuss those watches on the more general forums. Over time I expect popularity of those brands to increase and more variety to be offered, and at that point it would merit a separate forum I think. That's just my opinion, but then I don't make the decisions to start new forums.
    Lots of dive watches.
