    Suggestions for GMT Chrono?

    Hi Timekeepers,

Iím looking at getting myself an everyday watch that I can wear regularly. A GMT is a must, possibly a chronograph with date (day would be cool too). Happy to spend upto 5K or look at a preloved jewel.

Choppard Mille Magnia maybe but what is the movement in these watches.

Any other suggestions. Iím giving myself 4 weeks to find my next wife!

    Thank you all.

What is your overall style of dress on the daily? Are you looking for something with tool watch aesthetics or something a bit fancier? How do you feel about the question of watch maintenance? In any event, 5k in your currency isn't likely to allow for an in-house GMT chrono from anything other Seiko, unless you go pre-owned.

It isn't going to get him a Seiko either.

What's the service budget after you spend $5K on the purchase?
Guys, I really really really do understand that there was a hack and that my password was reset, but I'm about to take a year off from WUS if you can't stop telling me about it every time I log in. With my password. That you reset.

AUD 5k will easily get a brilliant quartz GMT chrono though... heck, that will get a new Breitling Airwolf Raven, which is a 20s/year HAQ with perpetual calendar as well:

Plenty of other quartz Breitlings for that budget.

Or a Citizen JW0070-51E (which is a world time GMT, although not obvious to look at it, and a really stunning watch in person, much nicer than photos suggest):

Your budget would just about buy one of each of Citizen's world-time chrono movements.

This is more expensive than 5k, but if you're willing to go pre-owned (I'm not a big fan of buying pre-owned watches), the JLC Reverso Squadra GMT chronograph hits the nail on the head.

Hmm I'm assuming you're looking for mechanicals only? If not, citizen and seiko make plenty of affordable GMTs.

    Or how about this one?

Fortis makes a gorgeous GMT chrono. Lots of variations too. This one has an alarm as well.
