Suggestions for a retro styled day/date upto $3.5k

Hi, hope everyone is well. I am after suggestions for a chronograph with day/date upto $3.5k. Doesn't have to be mechanical or swiss. To give you an idea of what I like, the Zenith with the multi coloured dials would be perfect if only it had day as well. It is well above the $3.5k but if it had day, I would pay upto $9k.

I love the Zenith but I have noticed lately I have been neglecting my non-day watches such as my Ananta, hence my desire for a day/date:

if this watch had day as well it would be perfect, I just love the retro look. Some other watches to show the look that I am after:

I have looked at Fortis as well, they're nice but most I've seen are mainly monochrome. I already have a black Mk4.5 speedmaster to fit that bill. I have been considering the Tag Heuer Cal16 day/date in brown as well.

    Thanks in advance

    cheers, Mike.

Also, it doesn't have to be new. I have been checking for old heuer, Sorna etc.

Yes, these are great. I remember I almost bought one around 4 years ago but never got around to it. I'm a bit concerned that all there seems to be online are replica's. I'll see if the local shops still stock it.

I did a quick search, while they did have a few day/dates-they seemed a modern for me. The Epos that I did like was unfortunately date only:

Zeno watch Basel Bullhead. Does anyone know if the day display is dual language eg english/german or either one or the other?

    cheers, Mike.

Re: Suggestions for a retro styled day/date upto $3.5k

Hmm...curious. How do we define retro?

Something like an Accutron Gemini has day and date and a classic aesthetic, though I'd hesitate to call it retro.
The Hamilton Pan Europ is clearly a retro design, as it is an upsized reissue of a watch from the 1970s, but it's not a day-date.
An Ollech & Wajs Mirage III has a military look, which is retro in its own way, with its smaller 39mm case size, and a day-date feature, but it doesn't seem as colorful as your other watches. Sinn has several watches in budget that offer this look and a similar size, but again, not very colorful.

A conundrum. Though the watch I wear most often is a day-date, I prefer watches without a date at all. How to help?

How did it get so late so soon?
