Surprised at the relatively lack of threads on Hamilton (esp Frogman)

Yes, there are plenty of posts on Hamilton watches, but definitely not a lot compared to other low-mid level Swiss watches like Oris, Fortis, and Sinn. Those brands have their own forums, Hamilton does not. This surprises me because Hamiltons seem well-made, use the same ETA movements as the other brands, and many are quite attractive at much cheaper than the brands I've mentioned. Why is that?

I'm looking into the Frogman on bracelet, but the total number of threads on this watch, going back to several years ago, is less than 7 or 8. That's just shocking to me. It seems to be a good value. Why so little interest in this watch?

Probably more discussion over in the "affordable watch" forum. There may be more interest in Hamilton as a vintage American watch than as a Swiss watch.

I agree with you, Hamiltons are great values, well made with excellent workhorse ETA movements, but they are considered mid-level Swatch group watches and perhaps don't have the glitz of some other brands.
