    SWISS-RONDA GMT Cal.515.24H Movement

Does anyone have any information they can share about this brand and or individual movment? Is it really Swiss? What sort of quality is it? I found some Tauchmeister watches at a fairly low price point that use it.

    Regards,

    Mike P

I'd rate Ronda quartz movements not on the same level as the ETA quartz movements. Most of the ETA quartz movements aren't made in Switzerland but in China, Thailand, Ronda movements probably too. A lot of low cost watches are fitted with Ronda or ETA "Fashionline" and "Trendline".
    Don't expect a high-tech-quartz-movement.

Thanks for re-viving a 7 yrs old thread. According to the Ronda web site there is a swiss made and a swiss parts version. Google is your friend.

What is the issue with the age of a thread? The question is still valid.

955.424 thermoline. Glycine does use it for the quartz 24h Airman.
    Kind regards

I have a Harding Jetstream GMT, it uses the Ronda 515.24H movement, I was just wondering what other brands out there that also use the same one? PS I really like this by the way!

I recently got a Victorinox 241648 Infantry GMT with the same movement. Not close to the watch now, so an Amazon pic will have to do :
