That's a pretty one. I'm wearing an older model today that continues to impress me with excellent fit and finish. The radio time reception is quite decent, even inside the house in a cabinet. The solar charge is very efficient and lasts for months. I use mine to help calibrate mechanical watches, and it's dead nuts on with another Casio solar atomic I use as a beater. It's heavy, feels quite substantial on the wrist. I am guessing that most of the Oceanus line share these traits. Sorry though, don't know the model above but I think it's nicer looking than mine! (this one...)

I really like the look of that model. I have a very similar Oceanus inbound right now. Mine is the OCW600TDA-7AV and hopefully in a few days I will be able to give you a first hand impression.

There are several reviews of the Oceanus line at Watch Reviews @ Watch Report.

Not my cuppa, but it looks good and is most likely a quality watch. As I recall, Oceanus watches tend to fall in the near or around $1000 range. To me that seems like a lot for what is, at the heart, the same technology that's in my $80 G-Shock. Super accurate timekeeping isn't my thing (otherwise I would have an Oceanus or some sort of HEQ), but if it's yours, then I doubt you'll be disappointed. Although, it would tug at me, what I could have gotten for the same price, minus the cost of a Giez line G-Shock from Hamilton or Seiko or Tissot.

How did it get so late so soon?

I got mine on ebay for just over $200.

Then it's definitely a good value at that price.

SCD I wish I got a T1000 for $200 but no, the model I'm getting is the 600TDA. The T1000 is newer model with a few upgrades. It has a higher MSR than the 600 so if you find one on the bay I expect that you would have to pay more than I did for mine.
