Thank goodness I didn't flip this...

I've been flipping a few watches recently (mostly vintage) and, of course, I've had a few twinges of regret as I box something up, but there is only one watch which I withdrew from sale before it was bought because I suddenly realised I just couldn't let it go. My lovely Omega Seamaster De Ville... so glad I kept this beauty! Do you have a watch you almost flipped but will never let go?

Once I listed my Cartier Roadster for sale. Glad nobody wanted it.
I like the unusual style and the quick-change strap functionality. Plus, it was a gift for my fortieth birthday back in 2006.

I'm in the middle of this now! Listed my Grand Seiko for sale, accepted 3 offers, but no one ever paid. Decided to order a new strap for it and keep it! We'll see if I really do keep it after the strap change!

Sold a Santos 15 years ago on ebay, with regret. Buyer said it wasn't a full set (it was) and sent it back to me. I was pissed at the time, but still have and wear the watch frequently.

Had this one up for sale for about a week and ended up wearing it to my wedding, so now it has sentimental value too.

Never again try to sell it. You will regret it.
