Not much info on brand, movement. A quick search revealed that there is not only one World Time Chrono.
    Kind regards

Lemon laws are for products where there is a defined pattern of poor quality. Two visits for one watch is not a pattern.

I think that some credit cards offer 30 day protection. Beyond that, you're subject to the good will of the manufacturer and it may be wise to leverage your relationship with your AD. I don't think state lemon laws for cars cover situations with only 2 tries at fix within 6 months, which may be fairly common. I hope the sc gets it right for you this time. FWIW, I've had to have a couple pieces go in a second time. Brand managers don't like hearing about these, so I think they both got much additional attention on their second vist. You may want to make sure brand mgt knows of your situation. Use their 'contact us' link on their website or call them.

I'm guessing the Ball World Time Chrono posted about here: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/wife-right-1037758.html

Other than some sort of general contract law, I don't think there is any specific US legislation on the subject.

Currently, the best defense against unforeseen faulty watches is a good dealer network which can at least make the process easier for you, or if the defect is noticed quickly (the first few days) they will sometimes just give you a new watch and send that one back. And, obviously, buying from an AD ensures you have a functional warranty that goes back to the manufacture instead of some of the grey market warranties that go back to their local watch repair company.

Thanks for the replies actually stopped in my ad shop today and module needs to be replaced. Perseus is correct it is the ball wt chrono module needs to be replaced can't be done in fla. So it is now in Switzerland I really like that watch will let you know what happens.

As long as they are taking care of it, I dont see the problem tbh. Stuff like this happens unfortunately and it can be a pain to deal with, but with some manufacturers, they take it very seriously and deal with it very professionally. Hopefully Ball will come through for you.

I agree sometimes going through an AD helps especially when issues arise
