Are there certain nuanced features which just drive you wild?

Wild in a good way, that is.

Are there any features on timepieces that just make you feel that way that the nuns in Catholic School told me was sinful?

Mine has to be the font used by ALS on their date wheels. It's completely unrelated to the actual workings of the watch but for some reason it seems like such a beautiful thing.

    Photos shamelessly taken from Google.

It is a homage to the Semperoper clock made by Ludwig Teubner but I am sure you are aware of this.

Great thread idea, let's keep it going.

    Textured dials.

    Sunray dials.

    Solid gold.

(Gold capped would also do, just not plated. In fact I just considered cashing in my 4 Apple shares to buy a lovely vintage capped watch...problem is that really wouldn't be good investing).

    70s style lugs.

    Interesting casebacks.

(All watches mine or formerly mine).

Breguet numerals, especially number 2, but really only on Breguet watches, interestingly enough.
