Is there something wrong with my wrist?

My wrist is 6", but i tried a 41mm watch and it seemed fine? My wrist almost looks like a rectangle, it is very wide and flat from above (2.3 inches) but from the side it is very thin (1.18 inches), it almost looks like a rounded rectangle... So i am not sure what watches i can wear or not. I might think a nomos or stowa antea ks would be too small .

My wrist is 7.5" and It's shaped like a 2x4.

I say wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. I remember seeing someone post a specific wristshot of a Panerai homage that was huge on his puny wrist and literally laughing out loud every time I saw it, but the wearer felt ok with it and other people chimed in to say they thought it looked good too.

So as long as you're ok with it, go for it! It's your wrist and your watch.

Yeah I think theres more to it that just circumference. I have largish hands and my wrist is wide so it looks ok when I wear largish watches I think. General rule I have is as long as the lug edges don't go off your wrist it's fine.

Yeah i think you are right. My hands are very large. I think i could probably wear even larger watches. I don't know why people measure by wrist circumference.

I too have very small and flat wrists... 6.75". The top side of mine is 2.25 and sides are 1.125, and I wear 44-46mm perfect, but I like to wear bigger. It's all about the lugs though, not the diameter of the watch, necessarily. If the watch has long lugs it makes it wear larger and hang over the sides. It also depends on how the lugs are angled, the more angled, the better the fit, for larger watches.

It all depends on the lug design too. The Buran I just got is 45mm in diameter but 52mm lug to lug and it's basically just the width of my wrist. I don't think I'd go any bigger, but I do have a 48mm with a integrated rubber band that wears much smaller despite a larger diameter.

    Or Botox. LOL.
Better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't done...

    Alien invasion?

You are so right. The circumference is of less importance than the "available" area on the top of the wrist. The wider top bit, the bigger watches you can wear.
It has all to if the lugs stick out outside the wrist or not.
