    They say...

it is better to have loved and lost...I'm not sure...

I decided to 'simplify' and stop collecting several years ago. I have at one time owned each of these (among others) and no longer have any of them. I do have a watch or two, but these are all gone:

What are some you've let go?

Way too many to even think about.
I don't miss most of them. The one's I do are; GO Pano-Date Moonphase, Rolex TT Blue Sub, Rolex EXP II, Omega SMP 2541.80, Alpina Extreme Avalanche Regulator, Breitling SO II. The other 2-3 dozen I don't really think about.

More than 20 in the past year having counted them all up. Only one I miss is the Bernhardt Binnacle Anchor. It was almost perfect, but a bit too big IMHO and it had those stupid permanent endlinks.
    Cheers,
    Mike

Argh! A GO Pano-Date Moonphase?! Why? What replaced it?

I'd love to own one of those...

    Re: They say...

The one I let go with regret (but later with relief that it went to a good home) was my first Vostok Amphibia Tonneau; About a month or two ago, I sold it off due to it being damaged by the idiot 'watchmaker' that I took it to have it recased. That jackass broke the stem and it wouldn't wind, so I told him to go to hell, got my watch back and went home. Later on, I hesitatingly put it on the auction block at the 'Bay... A few days later, a gentleman contacted me and said he wanted to buy it after the auction ended with zero bids or interest. I wasn't going to tell him no, so I relisted it and he bought it right away. Mailing it off was one of the hardest things I had to do, as that was my very first Amphibia, but I was very relieved when I joined here to find not only the man who bought my watch, but that he was a fellow Vostok enthusiast and managed to triage it and get her back to working condition. :)
