Thin wristers: There's a 38 mm Panerai, but will you?

I don't know how I missed this, the Panerai 38mm Acciaio. Not bad looking at all. (More at Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Acciaio - 38mm - Panerai watch)

Now that I know about a Panerai that fits my underfed wrist I actually need to answer the question, "Do I want an Panerai?"

Thin wristers, what say you? Will you finally get a Panerai?

Width is not the limiting factor for "thin wristers", but generally it’s a proxy because a narrower watch is often proportionally less long (lug tip to lug tip). However, with a Panerai that is not really an issue because of the shape of the case, which means that even the wider watches are less long. As a thin wrister I have owned a 44mm PAM, but am more comfortable with a 42 or 40mm.

Yes, because anything bigger than 40mm is uncomfortable to me.
No, because I’m not a Panerai type of guy. But it’s nice looking and if I was in the market for one of these, I’d do it.

No because this watch is all mouth and no trousers. 30m of water resistance from a company that is supposed to be all about creating pure dive watch cases. Need I say more.

Can't say I'm a fan of it...but, hey, the more options there are for thin-wristers AND large-wristers alike, the merrier! :)

It's great that they made it, but I think too many compromises for the price. 30m WR, date window that's not well-integrated, extremely bland caseback, ETA movement... Really doesn't feel like I get much for the money, - which probably means I'm not the right audience for it.

I gotta hand it to them. I didn't think they could look worse and here's proof they can take their design and make it even worse. I'm clearly not their market, but I'll give them credit for at least making it a normal size.

I think it initially caught out a lot of people- it was supposed to be what many wanted but...
It's a pig in lipstick. A nice looking pig but absolutely no substance!
Wait till they get their stuff together and offer a real Panerai in this size.

    My 2c.

They have sold 40mm Panerai for quite a while. Personally I think that dial is ... not zesty.

White Panerai is poison. If they can make one with a black/brown sandwich dial and 200m WR then it would be good.
