    Thinga.me collection organizer app

Saw this new Microsoft app - not available yet, but trial is at thinga.me online

Looks interesting for organizing collections of watches, especially how it cleans up photos of the objects.

    Anyone use anything similar?

Excel spreadsheet. I do keep track of acquisition date, purchase price, sell date, sell price, etc. but I don't feel a need to have this information with me on a mobile phone. And yes, I'm old.

I started one of those when I really started buying and selling a lot of watches. I also had a sheet in the workbook for watches I wanted to buy. I would list the recent sale prices of those pieces so I could get an idea of the market and what was a "too good to pass up" deal on a piece. It lasted about 6 months. I'm not sure why I quit using it. I am an Excel nerd and use it for so many things on a daily basis. I think the watch thing just got to be too tedious. I think the main reason though is probably that I let emotion take over and steer my decisions more than reason. It probably has been bad for my wallet, but it sure has been fun.

On my Android I have an app called Stuffd - not well known but lets you keep track of your 'stuff'. It's ok, glitchy at times. The main problem is my possessions are fluid and change. Wouldn't mind having something decent like this on my iPhone though.
