Those that have NATO's - a poll for you

Just curious here. If you have watches with NATO's .... why?

I chose more comfortable because some of the bands that have come on my watches either iritate my skin when it gets sweaty or it doesn't fit right. I seem to have just the right wrist size where it's too tight or too loose .

You and me both. That's the reason I've got a Nato on my Speedie right now. Bracelet either cuts of the circulation or it flops all over the place.

Love the look, the feel, the ease of changing the strap for a different style, the fact its not bolloxing my expensive bracelets, they are cheap, dependable, washable. You can use them for other things than a watch. They are fun.

    Am I missing something?

Re: Those that have NATO's - a poll for you

I'm glad to see that you provided an "All of the above" option in this poll, because it fits as perfectly as my NATOs do. They look great, they're comfortable, they're durable, they're cheap, they're easy to swap out (I have black, grey and orange)... I think that about covers it. I suppose the same could be said of Zulus, but they're a bit too simple for my tastes (I prefer the way NATOs attach to the watch head).

    Regards,
    Adam

Re: Those that have NATO's - a poll for you

I tried using Natos, Zulus and just about every type of nylon strap I could get my hands one. The only ones that I seem to like are two piece double layer straps like the KHS Conquerors and the Seiko nylons.

The others just bit into my arm and deformed over time.

Picture Just for the fun of it, ....

It is cheaper to buy a couple of Nato strap than to buy a new watch

Plus it is stain resistant - perfect grill companion!

I want a NATO with a deployment clasp!
I just think that things should work the way I expect them to.
