    I like the look.
But no idea about the fit and finish.

Every watch you like and purchase is worth the price... to you. Outside of that, 99% of watches are not worth the price. I believe Xetum would fall in that 99%.

For a Swiss ETA movement I've seen watches command a lot more than Xetum's $1k. Unlike most other small brands in this price range you get a unique case and individual design. If you like it I'd go for it.

Owned one, fit and finish very good for the money, if you like the lug less look it's a good buy imo . . . . .

Agreed, for a Swiss ETA movement and a 1K price tag it's certainly not outlandish at all, it all comes down to the aesthetics, if you like the aesthetics it would be a good buy, but you will probably take a bath on resale.

About a grand for their watches is a fair price, I suppose, but the price has kept me away. I don't like to break $900 on a watch I've never tried on before. At $600, I'd have given them a shot.

    Re: Thoughts about XETUM

I like mine. I was able to try a few on, they have/had one retail outlet in San Francisco (where they are based). I was there for a couple days and found the shop in some mall downtown. Went there once to try them on, came back the day of my flight to buy one.

I think it's a fair cost. It's a unique piece, not massive or gaudy or anything. Nice in the rotation.
