I like the style and looks of automatic with sapphire crystal,
    Are they worth 400.00 ?

Absolutely, great brand history and a lot of watch for the money.

I think the value (grey market) is pretty good in the 3-400 range. I bought a Combat 7 grey market for ~$300 a couple of years ago. Very nice watch for that money. Ended up wearing a bit large for my tastes, but a lot of bang for buck. At the ~$1200 retail, not so impressive. Feels more like a $600-700-ish dollar watch to me.

Got a Combat 6 earlier this year. Fantastic value. Stunning watch. I'd like another. Mine was off mass drop.

I paid much more and would not hesitate to get it again if I needed. They are great watches that can take a real beating if needed.

    Re: Thoughts on Glycine combat

Glycine Combat street prices dropped recently to the $400 range, making them a great value watch. The older owners who paid much more in past years, are somewhat chagrined (read: pissed) that us late comers are scooping up these Swiss Made high-beat gems at these low prices.

Also have the white dial Costco version of the PVD below:

    I don't think there's a current Glycine model below 42mm.

I have a blue dial 38mm, looks like this one:

It is a beautiful little affordable high-beat watch. Particularly like the long hands on most Glycine.

I think it’s a good buy under $400....over that not so much. I’d also buy pre-Invicta watches only
My collection changes so often I got tired of redoing my signature
