Thoughts on this Mod Seiko Diver?

Hi everyone, Recently modified a Watch and I'm wondering what the general people think of this... The base watch is a Seiko SKX779k3 / monster. Mod work was completed by NEWATCHWORKS. The watch was Beadblasted twice over with a glass beadblasted finish. The original dial was replaced with a MK II 300 Dial... The lume is C1- Yet, very thick... I had NE watch works remove the black bezel paint as well and pressure test it up to 200m.. The strap is a Maratac Black on Black PVD 5 Ring Nato. I'm sorta in the thoughts of either selling it or keeping it.. What do you guys honestly think of the finished product? Oh- And spec's are 43mm Without crown... 47.5 mm Lug to lug.

Very nice, really like that dial and the bead blasting. Never heard of NewWatchworks, where are they located? Looks like they do good work. Enjoy, looks like a winner to me.

Thx, NeWatchWorks is located on the East Coast... I strongly recommend this website, the guy who runs it name's Duarte. Believe it or not, the turn around time for me was less than 10 days... Everyone else estimated the wait would be between 3-6 months. North East Watch Works

Looks good. I like the finish much more than the stock Monster.

Also, Duarte is a good guy.

I was going to respond "Nope, still a Monster", but I actually found myself liking this mod. Very nice.

Not bad at all. I really can't stand polished monsters, they look soooo much better blasted :)

While the Monster is a great watch I find it horribly lacking in looks. I think you're mods are huge improvement over the stock version and if Seiko sold them like that I would be tempted to pull the trigger.

I like it. I agree, looks better than the stock Monster. Still has the lume pip on the bezel though, right?
