Question Thoughts on the new Farer

Hi, I am a new member on WUS, just curious to hear about your thoughts on the new Farer Automatic Chronograph? Seems like panda is the new black these days.

Re: Thoughts on the new Farer

My first thought was, "I'm doomed."

Solid specs. The usual flair for color we've come to expect from Farer. Unique case finishing. If they were $300 USD cheaper, I'd have bought one already. As it is, I'm seriously considering making one of them - either the blue or black - my first Farer.

I in general like Farer--the playful designs and use of color, sticking with Swiss movements, etc. They've established a distinct visual identity pretty quickly, which is not easy to do in the watch world. But there's never been one piece that really sustains my interest, and I think the new chronographs fit this pattern, too. The blue one is not bad, though ...

    Love my Ponting GMT.

The new black dial chrono looks an awful lot like my 1973 Bulova.

    Cheers!

I like my oxley a lot, a very versatile and comfortable piece. I've been in the lookout for a blue Chrono for a while that caught my interest and was in the 1-2k range. I pulled the trigger on the Cobb tonight. So excited as it looks amazing in the pictures. Segrave was my second favorite, but I gotta go with the blue.

    Pretty nice.

I just wish that they had them with no date.

Like them, don't love them. Can't afford them either, not when I've blown through my watch funds for the year.

I did see a side profile on IG though, they're nice.
