Great bang for your buck- certainly not in the same league as Omega and Rolex but closer to some cheaper TAGS than you might think. nothing wrong with a nice Tissot! Heres one I have.

For the watches in this range. I would chose a Oris rather a tissot.

I would have thought Oris in general is a little more pricey than Tissot but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

yes mate, i would have to agree with u.
an Oris Classic Date will retail for about 1.1k but is likely to get a 35% discount which will amount to 715.
a Tissot heritage visodate, retail for about 650 and is likely to be with a 20% discount which will cost 490.
the retail prices may have a huge difference, but the final cost is 30% difference. for me i will take an oris.
the % discount is from my research @ my local ADs.

    just my 0.02.

    Re: thoughts on tissot?

Some calls them an entry level of luxury watch. A good first watch to own. But I would prefer a Christopher ward or Hamilton at this price range. But there are still a horde of tissot faithful out there.

Hard to explain the tier system here. Try doing a search on watch brand tier or ranking. I'm sure you'll find quite a lot and realise tissot is many many tiers behind Rolex or omega.
