    Thoughts on Ullyse Nardin

I'm totally gonna get the 45mm UN Chronometer blue next month when I'm finished for payment my Rolex in 2 months time.

Also I realize there's a lot of variants for the above.
Not to be mistaken with the torpilleur or the 43mm one.

Gorgeous watch! I would just be worried about depreciation of this brand as I've seen them heavily discounted more so the last couple years. Try to find one that's being liquidated or slightly used in the grey market in my opinion

I would consider buying another Rolex instead of a UN if I were you ...

While not a fan of Roman numerals on a diver, the one you picked is beautiful. I have both a UN Marine Diver and a Sub (no date). Both have its own merits. The Sub has a classic and timeless design and retains its value more. The UN Marine Diver not much but the design and attention to details. Plus if purchased brand new and you register the watch online with UN you get a total of 5 years warranty same as my Sub.

Not worried about resale value of my UN. It's a keeper for me. Here's a shot of my 40mm Marine Diver. Perfect on my 6.5" wrist at 11mm high.

Overall, I think they make a great watch. In fact, the Classico (small seconds) is my current “grail” of the dress-watch category.

On the flip side, a lot of their stuff is a bit polarizing...and slightly over-the-top/loud in my opinion. I’m also not a big fan of the integrated straps with the additional “bling” factor.

Of course, that’s just my take based on personal preference. I’ve handled quite a few, and I will say that the execution and detailing are stunning...as are the dials.

Bottom line? Aesthetic preferences aside, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a UN.

I like UN but not sure about their long term price maintenance, they seem to take a step dive but maintain their long term value after the initial dip at the lower cost. Just make sure you get it for a good price.

Buy used if at all possible. Start looking now. No guarantee you will stay in love with it and as others have said, the watch drops much in value when it hits the secondary market.

Fantastic detailing. I've owned two. The first I sold, the 2nd is a keeper. Just love it. Both were bought used.
