Three Firsts (Pilot Watch/Germany made/Australian Designed)

After ordering a few week ago the day of my birth finally clicked over and #19 found a new home on my wrist.

The Valkyrie is my first pilot watch surounded by a sea of divers and I must say the first thing I noticed is how easy the dial is to read. This is also my first German made watch and from the look of the quality won't be the last. The best part is that this is my first Australian Designed watch by an Australian company. Keep up the good work Ian because I am finding that this watch looking right at home on my wrist.

Regarding the strap - very comfortable, the buckle is a little bit fidly to fit due to the flap but so easy top wear.

Now I just need to allow a bit of time to pass and get me a Nur-spec to keep growing the collection.

Regarding the strap buckle, some people prefer a deployment style buckle.
The Chronissimo strap has a protective flap on one side of the strap which would need to be cut off to accommodate the deployment buckle.
It's purely a matter of personal preference, though i feel that the standard buckle is a hell of a lot more secure than the deployment.
    Hope this helps,

    Ian

I have found it worked easier for me to remove the flap under the buckle, now I can now use one hand to put it on. BTW Happy B-Day mate!
