Tissot Seastar 1000 PROFESSIONAL valjoux for $884 ??

Can anyone confirm if this is legit? Obviously, seems too good to be true....

The picture shows a picture of the Seastar PROFESSIONAL 1000 with valjoux movement.
The model number on the listing also correspond to this. But the description says it is the non-chrono version.

Kind of scared to place the order, cuz it seems to good to be true and I am unfamiliar with this site.
Anyone else care to take a shot?

Not sure why "too good to be true" ?? Overstock (and others)have them for $750/$800 all day long, nothing too special about the Tissot .....furthermore, the Seastar does not use a Valjoux movement but a much cheaper Swatch C01.211 auto.
The site is just another gray dealer , haven't heard anything good or bad about them....

OP is talking about the chrono which does use the Valjoux. Jomashop is selling them for $850 so your price looks fine to me. However I wouldn't buy from some place I've never heard of without lots of good online feedback from a variety of sources. Just buy from where you know.

No. The regular tissot sea star chronograph does not use the valjoux movement. it uses a cheapo modified eta chrono movement called a C01.211 (as sold on jomashop). Tissot also made a limited edition "professional" version with the valjoux movement, with day/date which is what is being advertised on this link. This limited edition was $2,500 retail. If it is actually $850, it is a steal. Note this one is This is different from the jomashop watch both inside, and out if u look carefully.

When I was looking for a chrono Seastar I enquired about that watch and the AD was a bit miffed because although Tissot were still pushing it (and still are) I was told that they had sold out in 1 week so I would be a little cautious buying from them. Particularly as they offer a complimentary bracelet sizing service on a watch with a rubber strap.

Oh and I read that the watch was not exactly low profile and small if that matters to you and the CO1.211 models aren't tiny.

The Seastar 1000 chrono uses the CO1.211
The Seastar Professional makes use of the 7750

I know it is a large one. I tried on the blue c01.211 version in person, and I am aware the Valjoux is a little bit larger from what I have read.(like 1mm). The Valjoux version is Listed on amazon (from a random overseas seller) for $2,300. I think the valjoux version was limited to 1,000 total pieces when they came out, so that is why this is so enticing.

Too good to be true on this site at $850. They must have it mixed up. Who knows what they would send me? Also- it says "Will ship in 2-4 weeks". So, I can't trust them.

Anyway, They also have a newer version of this watch with the c01.211 movement. This one looks to be for sale in this site too, but haven't really seen it elsewhere. It should pop up somewhere soon though. But I hate having a cheapo movement.
