I was looking at getting the Seastar Chrono a while back. I remember reading something that said if you put your finger on the bezel, it changes color, but returns to normal after a little while. I don't know why they would use that type of paint, but I hope that's the problem; not the paint actually coming off. Good luck.

Did you end up with a chip of paint? Or discoloration.

Good day. I had old model of SeaStar few years back, and same thing happened. Unfortunatly this is problem with this watch - paint comes off (chip) from the bezel. Just wander if new model will have some problem.

ugh, that sounds horrible. Pics would help us understand the problem better, but if its a known issue, I'm shocked that Tissot could do something like that.

Bummer! I'm sure they will swap out the bezel for a new one.
