I recommend against getting a titanium Tissot. I have a PRC 100 Titanium and the bezel is heavily scratched from everyday wear. When I took it in to a tissot boutique to see if they could repair the watch they advised me it's a coated titanium so the scratches cannot be buffed out.
I would email Tissot to confirm that as there's nothing on their website to indicate any coating. Not to say the Tissot Boutique is in the wrong but, the person who helped you may not necessarily have the correct information either.
