Today I found Feddern but I know nothing! Please Help!

ADMINS - Please remove this same question in Clock World, no one is watching there and I feel lonely so I will put here again. Thank you!
    ------

    Hello watchuseek nation!

Pardon me I am new here If I make some mistakes (posting to wrong thread) please be patient

I am long time photo camera collector and I know everything about GAS and how to fight with that syndrome Few days ago I was visiting my usual places in search for cameras and I saw very nice (but very dirty) Citizen and guess what, I bought it. I can't blame myself, Citizen is culprit! It was love at first sight.
So, I came back home, and I started to watch youtube videos about vintage wrist watches then I clean my small little friend and fell into bed. Next morning I was hooked! I went to few other local antique stores and I found this beauty which I will present to you with few photos.

    My questions is:

Does anyone know this particular brand? FEDDERN!?
    Any information is welcome.

All I can find on google is:
Mr. Feddern Walter was the guy who make this watch (I guess)
Mr. Feddern lived in Dublin and he was owner of the jewelry/watchmaker store in Stillorgan/Dublin
I believe that the case of this model is gold (I see some marks but is unclear), I had small particles of gold dust on cloths in the process of cleaning/polishing

I asked in few major watch stores in Dublin about Feddern but no one knows nothing. Based on this information I believe it's pretty rare time pieces.

Strap is brand new, I bought it today. I like it. It's simple and it fits, in my opinion, perfectly. Old one was ughhh ugly, dirty and in very bad shape.

I will add pictures of Citizen also. Oh yeah and how can I identify model/year of Citizen?

Thank you in advance! It will help me a lot to start my own collection If I know what I have actually.
It was impulse buy and It did not cost a lot so I'm good even if I can't find any information and besides that I really like Feddern.

Mikrolisk doesn't list any Feddern trademarks. It is quite likely, that there never was a Feddern company in terms of watchmaking - some department stores and jewellers had their private label brands, the watches themselves were made by third party suppliers.

Late 1960s to mid 1970s, by the looks of it.

Hey mkws thank you for reply!

I found few more information about Feddern Company.

    According to Irish Company directory:
Industry CodeManufacture of watches and clocks
Feddern Jewellers Limited was incorporated on 21 Jul 1986 and is located in Co Dublin. The company's status is listed as "Dissolved". It had 2 directors at the time it closed. The company's first directors were David William Hurley, Kenneth Mary Hurley. Feddern Jewellers Limited does not have any subsidiaries
    ---------------------

I guess after Mr. Walter Fedderns death (early 80's) company was bought by those two ppl. Though company does not exist any more.

I really found this unknown story fascinated. I will keep going with a research. I mean it does not add any value but it's fun.

Hoh and thank you for Mikrolisk.

    ^^ This.

It looks like a watch branded for a jeweler. The case is probably gold plated. More could be said if you could remove the case back and take some photos of the movement..

I was hoping for some text or logo on the movement that would say something about its provenience, but this one doesn't seem to have any. I don't know what type it is or when/where it was probably made. All I can say is that it is a rather simple type with a lower jewel count (e.g. the center wheel doesn't have a jewel bearing) and without special finishing. Does it work and keep time?

I like the look of that watch. By coincidence, my regular ‘bricks and mortar’ watch shop is in Stillorgan, Dublin. It sounds like it’s a different shop, but maybe someone there knows something? They’ve been around for ages. If you want to try emailing or calling:

Quite definitely French, but I couldn't find an exact match. Looks like a mirrored layout of something by Cupillard.
