Exclamation Is this too big for my wrist size ?

    Hi,

I am sorry if this question has been asked many times. I have just ordered for the first time a watch: a Festina F16585/4. I have a wrist size of 6.5" (and if that is relevant, I am 1.70m and weight 58kg). Below is a photo of the watch put in my wrist.

Is that too big ? I find it quite big (size are written below) and I am considering another watch like Festina F6813/4 or Pierre Lannier 201C123, which are smaller. Do you think they will fit me better? Thank you.

    EDIT 15/10/2013
I have received the Pierre Lannier watch today. I'm a bit disappointed. I feel that the lug-to-lug distance (49 mm) is a bit too big. I wonder what you think? Here are the photos:

I'm afraid it looks to big to me. The length of the watch seems to be greater than the width of your wrist. I think the 37mm would probably look great on you.

I always tend to say that it's completely up to you as to whether it's too big. The fact that someone comes on here to ask the question normally means they think it's too big.

In this case, I'm going to stick my neck out and just say "Yes, it's too big"

Anything where the lugs overhang your wrist is definitely too big.

Ok, thank you everyone! Just to be sure, does the second model 40mm diameter is still ok for my wrist size? I think I will change to that model. I heard that it is generally ok to have a 37 to 40mm diameter for a 6.5".

    I'm a 7" and a 40mm is perfect...I think you can pull off a 40mm just fine.
