Torneau Watches and an Xmas present for the GF...

    Hi all,

What's the consensus on the quality of Torneau watches? I might buy one for my girlfriend for Xmas, but I don't want to buy her anything ....... If anyone has any other suggestions for around $500, they're more than welcome!

    Thanks for your advice!

If you don't mind your gf wearing manly and big watch, get this:

I bought the watch for my GF as a christmas gift, she's hooked on big watch. It's Hamilton Khaki Mechanical, i bought it around less than $500.

Getting her a guys watch (as it would be oversized on her) is actually not such a bad idea.... Hmmm... SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

Anything else for $500 with sapphire and automatic movement? She said she wants a white face... Suggestions are always appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Andrew

That Tissot is very nice!! Just put some lighter colour strap (beige or white) and it will look spectacular on female wrist.
Main reason i opted for getting my girlfriend a man's watch is because the lack of mechanical movmt for ladies watch, under $1000 bracket anyway.

That and a lot of women like bigger watches. Saving $$ is always a good thing though ;)
