Toronto WIS meet November 15 - reminder!

A friendly reminder about the Toronto WIS meet on November 15.

Cool door prizes donated by Harold Ng (Yobokies), our man Noah Fuller and Jake Bourdeau. There will be a watch modding demo during the meet, performed by Jake with parts from Noah, and the watch will be sent home with a lucky WIS as a door prize!

2-5pm, 215 Spadina Ave (just north of Queen), suite 120.

$10 gets you in the door with free beer, any leftover $$ after costs (primarily beer) will go to Covenant House for homeless youth. My company is donating the space.

Bring your watches - there will be lots of room to display and share your stuff, and lots of great people to share it with!

    Cheers - Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

First of all, welcome, but excuse me for being guarded, you have 2 posts on this forum and you are organizing a meet with address and date publicly announced.....Sorry, it looks like an invitation for bad people to come and rob the event.....got to be more careful these days especially with all those nice watches on premise.....good luck....

    Re: Don't worry...

I'm a regular over on SCWF (Jeff C) but thought I'd invite you guys, too.

I don't have time to manage participation in more than one watch forum. I'm sure a few who "cross over" can vouch for me and the integrity of the meet.

There's a door, and no-one (a) dodgy or (b) without watches gets in. To be honest, the event is more tailored to the economic sensibility of the Seiko/Orient collector rather than the Breitling/Rolex guy.

    Cheers - Jeff
