Treated my Seiko Military to a new leather strap...

Been toying with idea of having a leather strap fitted no my new Seiko Military watch. I wanted just the right look and colour that would suit my taste (and go with the watch obviously), but to no avail. So this morning I went to a jewelery store, went through the Hirsch range of leather straps they had, I found two I liked, but they both had polished buckles, which would not go with my watch. So the guy that helped me, disappeared to the back and came back with a buckle that has 99% of the same sand-blasted look than my watch's casing. This suited the one strap very well and I said I'll take it and this is the result - I'm really chuffed with it. The strap is a very dark brown, although it does appear almost black on the photos. Also, I had a rubber gasket fitted to the outside of the casing of the watch - there's like a groove that runs around the perimeter and I think this does add a little something extra to the watch (it's not that easy to see on the photos, but in real life - it does have an impact). Some photos below (also tried to be a bit arty in some of 'em). As always, you comments will be appreciated.

Looks great! I'm used to seeing those Seiko's with nylon straps like nato's and zulu's, but the leather really brings a different look to it. I love getting new straps, it adds a whole new dynamic to any watch, and brings with it a new appreciation. Good choice.

Nice. Can't go wrong with Hirsch. Really like the photography too, especially the red monochrome. Well done!
