    Trouble posting pics...

I'm feeling stupid because i can't figure this out...

How the heck do i get my attachments to actually show up on my posts, as opposed to as thumbnails? I can't find a FAQ on this. Maybe i'm missing it? I'm using photobucket to link photos over here, looks like lots of others are also doing this, but their actual pics are on the posts, not just thumbnails. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Don't feel that way.

First you need a site that allows you to host your images. I use photobucket. It is great and best of all "free". Then you upload you pictures and then use the following link and paste it in your message.

    "["IMG"]"http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i290/04lund2025/Farmcatupload.jpg"["/IMG"]"

Take away the double quotes and you get this:

Another thing is might want to resize your pictures before uploading. I use 640x480 and 480x640.

I remember seeing a few posts around here that covered this much better than I did. So hope someone finds one and give you a link.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Stephen

Ugh... I knew it was something like that!!! Oh well, thats why i always have to call tech spport at work. I should've been able to figure that one out myself.

    Thanks a ton!

It's wierd because when you click on the http version of the link, when yer on photobucket, the quotes that show up don't matter, but for the [IMG] version, they do.

    Thanks again!

P.S> Cute kitty. Mine usually ends up trying to 'sneak in' whenever im taking pictures inside!
