Tudor BB 58 if I have Rolex GMT?

I acquired a Rolex GMT II with the all black ceramic bezel. Great watch. Love it.

I am still on the prowl for a thin, water resistant (at least 100m), versatile watch with a timing bezel that I can wear without worry.

I was trying to hold out for a blue dial that fit the bill but I haven’t found anything that strikes me yet. Closest yet may be a Sinn 104 blue dial.

I do rather like the Tudor Black Bay 58. Is it derivative of the Rolex in my collection? Or is there a place in my collection for both? I can post the rest of my collection if helpful.

Just my 2 cents, but I wouldn't want two watches that similar at that price range. B8t if someone handed me both, I'd be happy to take them.

If you want thin and worry free (at least much more affordable than either of those two), have you considered an Oris 65? Lots of flavors to choose from, and plenty unique alongside your Rolex.

Great suggestion. I forgot to mention the other front runner was a blue dial Oris 65 non-arabic numeral. I just haven’t pulled the trigger on the Oris for some reason...

The other watch I was thinking about was the Oris Bico. I literally just looked at the Tudor BB 58 at a watch shop. Helluva watch. But not a blue dial.

You can absolutely add the Tudor with the Rolex GMT. An excellent complement I think.

I definitely don't think that would be duplicative. I can understand wanting a blue diver though. Attached is my blue oris diver 65. This is the light blue dial; but the dark blue is also sharp. Happy hunting!

I don't find them derivative in the least. Buy both and enjoy a GMT and diver!

Have owned both the GMT LN and BB58, and can say they wear nothing alike. BB58 was too small for my 7.3+ wrist otherwise felt like the perfect beater.
