    TUDOR ETA VS IN-HOUSE

With the much anticipated release of the Black Bay and Pelagos with the new in-house movement soon to be in ADs ....rumored to have a slight price increase of +/-$300 ,my question is this .....
What is the consensus on pricing of pre-owned Tudors with the ETA movements predicted to be headed in an already saturated market?

I ultimately think the originals will be worth more, like everything original. There was nothing wrong with them, and personally I think they look way better. I think prices at AD's will go down, but obviously given some time, they will be up amongst collectors.

Oh, crap, is the BB not going to have an ETA movement any more? I actually find that really disappointing, since that was part of the appeal for me. Well, fingers crossed it makes the ETA ones cheaper. Maybe I'll try to swoop in and grab a discounted ETA one new during the window when both are available at once.

There has been no mention by Tudor that the BB is getting an in-house movement. It remains ETA for the time being.

The new Pelagos will sport the new in house movement. So will the new North Flag.

Tudor has not announced that the Black Bay will be powered by an inhouse movement. I am sure that it will be, in the near future, though. Pricing of ETA-powered Pelagos' will come down, at least temporarily.

I don't think pre-owned Black Bays would depreciate as much should there be new in-house movements introduced. There would still be a demand for the ETA version in the market.
