Tudor hour hand ....ugly or not?

    Ok hello.

i have been chatting on another thread about amongst other thing about the ugly Tudor hour hand.

Stunningly, yes, I know! Others seem to like it!!

i know, I know I must be mistaken. BUT, in case I am wrong and it is a monstrously popular design choice by this respected brand I thought I would post a poll to gauge a rough percentage for or against.

it appears I can not adjust the voting in my favor so we shall see..........let the vote begin!

Are you referring to the Snowflake hands?

    If so, I like them.

I personally like them. They’re unique from what I’ve seen and on the Pelagos, they fit the watch exceptionally well

I have a bigger complaint with Tudor in that the snowflake hands are on too many of their watches now.

For G*d's sakes, pick another style please. They had a few to choose from back in the day.

The Tudor now is too predictable. The brand may have jumped the shark now.

Ugly but in a charming way. I love it on my pelagos.

Longines has a more elegant version of the snowflake hour hand in my opinion.

Everyone complains about how all watches look so much alike. Everyone is trying to copy the Rolex Submariner, blah blah blah. Give Tudor some credit for using something that looks different!

To me, they are different, distinctive, maybe interesting, but not really good looking.

Re: Tudor hour hand ....ugly or not?

The snowflake hand came about because the French Navy requested that the hands be more visible under water and so Tudor designed the hands to hold more lume. A perfect example of a form designed for functionality. I've always found it to be fantastic looking. I acquired this 94010 seven years ago and eventually sold off my two other Tudor divers and a Rolex GMT with mercedes hands because I no longer wore them. I'm really hoping Tudor comes through with a blue dial/blue bezel BB58 next year.

And you forgot to put "It's awesome" in the poll...

It is certainly better looking than the awful rolex hour hand! I find with most divers, I either don't hate it or I hate it. The tudor I don't hate.
