I like this sort of usless information it makes me think that everything outside of the here and now (apart from my watch) is pointless.

Nice post. It really made me think about things... Like, how long until Seiko produces the first mercury wrist watch? I've already started saving!

Great post. Thanks. As for number 20 (20 There may be an end of time. Three Spanish scientists posit that the observed acceleration of the expanding cosmos is an illusion caused by the slowing of time. According to their math, time may eventually stop, at which point everything will come to a standstill.) I hope that doesn't include our watches.

Interesting stuff. I think I'll share some of that with my colleagues at work today. Thanks, Bob!

3 Wonder why you have to set your clock ahead in March? Daylight Saving Time began as a joke by Benjamin Franklin, who proposed waking people earlier on bright summer mornings so they might work more during the day and thus save candles. It was introduced in the U.K. in 1917 and then spread around the world.

I dont think this is true, daylight saving was put in place because it benefits the farmers who need the early light to carry out work on the farms. This is what ive always been taught...
