    Two Watch Travel without GMT

So... while I am patiently waiting on my Tudor GMT to get to me while I'm on the waitlist (seems like it'll be like waiting at the DMV- a crapshoot to when I'll see the finish line). I am considering wearing a quartz diver which is a tiny 36mm on one wrist and my Panerai on the other.. with the Tiffany displaying on the underside so it'll mostly look like I'm wearing a leather bracelet.

I'll do hometime on quartz and local time on the PAM. It'll be a fun experiment as I've never worn two at a time and know the thoughts associated with doing so amongst the WIS... but heck, I'm at an age where I really don't care what others think and it'll be a fun experience.

I blame Tudor for this ridiculous wait...

    -- UPDATE --

Here's the photo as requested... of the "poor man's GMT" or I guess the "two-wrist GMT" as I shall dub it.

    What do you think?

I wear 2 watches when traveling, usually a quartz and an automatic. Works out great, whichever scenerio you set them up.

I think it is a great idea and not something many have the spine to try.

Good luck and update us on how it worked for you.

Don’t know how long the wait is but I’ve just joined the 2 year queue for a black Sub and it’s killing me already.

Sounds like a good idea to me too! This is knowledge gleaned solely from watching TGV videos, but isn't that what General Schwarzkopf did during the first Gulf War? I think he wore watches on both wrists with one set to local time and the other set to home time. You should definitely post a double wrist shot when it happens.

You are still on a waitlist? The last three or four times I went to a dealer, they had at least one one Tudor GMT in stock. One of them had two. I still haven’t seen the 58 in the metal.

    Minneapolis
    Des Moines (twice)
San Antonio (nearly sure I saw one, but I could be mistaken)

It’s been a while, but I think Des Moines had one on a bracelet and on fabric the last time I was there.
