    Question Vintage or Modern?

Which do you prefer and buy, vintage or modern watches?

    Re: Vintage or Modern?

There was a poll on this recently... I'll vote the same way...

    MODERN!!!!

I'm not a vintage fan, in general, as I'd much rather prefer to own something unworn, and I just don't like most of the vintage looks, with very few exceptions.

Collecting watches is about collecting things that have withstood the test of time and proven themselves as significant.

Um... okay. LOL! Should we assume that's a vote for vintage then?

Personally I couldn't disagree more, but that's good for you, because it's one less guy trying to outbid you on some vintage piece!

I feel I should clarify. I love my moderns too, so my vote is for both.

I can't lie, I have a vintage piece, so I guess I should've voted for both as well, but it's one of the rare occurrences I mentioned before. I guess the point is what's one's preference, and I voted correct, my preference is definitely modern. Though if I'm being completely honest, lately I've been diggin' the old 70's style cushion case vintage divers more and more. Man I use to HATE those things.
