VSA DM 500 Mecha vs Certina DS Action Diver Auto

I posted this in the Dive forum, but it's really unrelated to dive watches...

"I don't know which grade is used in either.... the VSA is a 2892.A2 and the Certina a 2824-2.... does anyone know? assuming they're both "Elabore", which would you choose?

they're both ISO 6425, size is irrelevant, pvd vs ss is irrelevant, "pedigree" is irrelevant... decision should be based on movement alone."

I'm no expert, but if it is down to the movement only, from what i have read, the 2892 elabore would edge out the 2824 elabore. That distinction is much less clear at the grades above elabore though. All that said, I don't really know the VSA but the Certina is a very nice watch with fine build quality.
