Point taken. What I meant was I wonder if the buyer thought he was getting a steal and didn't know better. My first quick glance fooled me, until you notice the lack of a pusher, etc...

Totally different watches with different movements. I don't think enough of these have sold recently to generate a real market value, but hey, it sold for what it sold for.

Impossible to find exactly the same on the internet...
It is really similar to that one on Chrono24 : Vulcain CRICKET Ă. vendre pour 1.490Â.€ par un Trusted Seller sur Chrono24

    Anybody could help me?

    Many thanks.

Hard to estimate. Crickets will sell anywhere between $250-$1500+ depending on case material, condition, and service history. This particular model pops up every so often on eBay. It is usually a good idea to factor the price of a service in when you get a vintage watch.

. I opened it and it was legit manual vulcain . From what i can find its case looks to be from the 70's.. owner was the original owner and stater it came this way with the globe in the Crystal and the diamonds as markers and on the arms.

    Stamped on the back is 14k 5 517 C. G.
It was my grandfather's and I just had it restored. I know nothing else about it. Any additional info would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
