Subscribed. I don't own a Vulcain but they sing sweet songs to me. I hope this thread runs long and gets stuffed full of pics!

    Vulcain Owners Club

Now, a '61 Nautical is among the watches at the top of my wishlist.

In the interim, I picked up this H36.101 manual-wind diver:
    Attachment 1541550

It's 200m WR, and I believe from the 70's as the lume is shot and the hands are starting to fringe.
If anyone here knows more I'd love to hear it! I contacted Vulcain, but they just sent me details about their paid authentication services.
That is an excellent piece! I think your timeframe is pretty good too, my Vulcain (above) is a H35.101 and was guesstimate-dated by my watchmaker at 1968. I too contacted Vulcain for more info but was told that their pre-2000's library information is pretty spartan. Probably something to do with them being out of business for some 20 odd years

That's a beautiful 60s/70s diver, I'd love to see some more pics

Care to share any details of the specs (size etc)?

That's the same information I got from them on my old cricket. From what I understand, mine is pre 1963 - it doesn't have the MSR mark on the movement.

Very nice divers, guys! Keep the pics coming!

    Thanks, OzO.

The watch is 39.5mm w/o crown x 42mm. 12mm tall. The lugs are a little odd, at 20.8mm between.
I'll probably mount a 21mm strap, but for now I have it on a 20mm shark grain double-ridge.

    Here are some additional shots.
You can see the watch has seen better days - the crown and some of the edges are a little chewed:

I really like the watch that is farther away in your picture. Which model is it? I would love to see other pictures.

Hmmm... This is making Vulcains look very appealing.

About a year ago I stumbled upon Vulcain Crickets. After countless hours of searching online I got lucky. The watch is amazing and I love the sound. So here she is...

I've been looking for a Cricket for the longest time and the more that I look at the history behind them the more that I fall in love with the company and some of the designs that they have!
