    Wanting to add

I have been toying with the idea of adding to my 1 watch collection. I currently have an IWC Big Pilot ref 5004. I have owned a few brands in the past that include, Omega, Rolex, Breitling, Tag, Seiko.

I have my eye on a few pieces but don't want to go to crazy on price. I wanted to get a Rolex YM RG in Oysterflex. Or a VC Overseas Dual Time, however I feel like the more economical thing to do would be to keep the BP as my top tier piece and maybe add an SS or something to the mix.

If it were you with only a BP 5004, and had to choose what would your 2nd watch be?

I know in the end to get what I want, but I value others opinions when making my decisions.

    Thanks!!!

Difficult to say... It will completely depend on what role you see your 2nd watch fullfilling.

Also the IWC im the picture looks like it sits a bit weird on the wrist. Depending on wrist size you might be better off going for maybe a smaller sized watch.

If your IWC stays as your daily wear, you might want to add a dress piece. If you don't like or have a use for dress pieces this suggestion is of course moot.

    Still a liiiiittle oversized IMHO
I would go for something smaller and dressier, keeping the BP for daily wear

The lug to lug is what bothers me, its just a little too much.... But as always, its just a matter of taste, the watch is still a gorgeous piece!

There is something about it that I love. I feel like it flys under the radar even tho it's so big. Only watch needs notice it. Everyone else thinks it's some junker. I love that lol. I love the band with the rivets. The big crown.

I don't think the IWC is outrageously big on you, and since you can handle that, why not go for a Panerai? Pilot and diver is a good collection. Then again, if you think one sporty watch is enough I'd go for a dress piece (or kill two birds with one stone and get a bathyscaphe and use that as a dress watch). All that being said, a VC Overseas dual time would look brilliant.

The VC with the blue dial is a stunner. I was thinking about Panerai. Just so many models

Yeah the VC may be the way to go. However with Panerai, since you already have a black-dial time-only, how about getting a white dial or gmt?
