    Warning about Paypal

    Afternoon everybody

yesterday i got an email from Paypal, it says my account was limited permanently.

all because after my purchases, i waited for 30 days for the items to arrive and after that, i wrote through Paypal to the sellers asking why my items didnt arrive, and after 2 days without answer, i scalate my claim to Paypal.

i did that following my country laws, after 30 days of not getting an item, i must write to the seller and start a claim within 5 days.

the big trouble is: right after Paypal limited my account, all my claims got inmediatelly rejected without reason, right after that, i wrote and called to Paypal asking for an answer, they say they are not forced to answer, because they keep that right for themselves.

    so the item didnt arrive
    i lost my money
i cant even use ebay protection because once a case is on paypal, paypal force ebay to not intervene in the matter.

and since Paypal got not properly legal id on my country, i cant start a legal claim.

Are you ordering from overseas, then opening a dispute when it takes longer then 30 days? You’re doing this with every purchase?

This sounds crazy, paypal allow 60 days to open a claim I think... If the claim is closed on paypal, not just rejected, you can open one on ebay, item not received, if the tracking # shows that, you will be safe.

Also, what "limited" exactly means to your account?

    Re: Warning about Paypal

You have at least 3 posts relating to some sort of PayPal issue, is there more to this than you are stating?

    Re: Warning about Paypal

    - Is this even related to wristwatches? Or is this a general rant?
    - When you say the items didn't arrive, did you get a tracking number? Were they even shipped?
    - How much are we talking about that you "lost'? $20? $500? $7000?
    - Why no credit card dispute for back-up?

So basically, you got banned, err, "limited" for opening an excessive amount of disputes. OP's "Warning about PayPal": find a better resolution before opening a dispute due to slow shipping
