Watch Aficionado - Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull

I will admit to being a Jethro Tull fan (among other prog-rock groups - any Gentle Giant or Camel fans out there?) and happened upon a David Letterman interview with him in 1982 on YouTube:
It appears to be a gold Rolex (Oysterquartz?) that he is waving around.

    A little more searching reveals:

And he is now affiliated with JS Watch Co out of Reykjavik:

Although I would think that Sarpaneva might be a better fit.

If you want to enjoy a good quality live concert from 1977:
Yes, it has dorky elves-in-the-forest elements, but the guitar solo in the middle of Aqualung starting around 1:25:10 is metal. Enjoy.

Saw Tull live twice and they were totally different each time. Great show both times.

Saw IA interview (60 minutes, maybe?) as the largest Salmon Farmer in Scotland at that time.

Here he is with the late Greg Lake (ELP) on flute in a church live....amazing video:

Cool. Now I want a JS Watch Co watch even more. I too saw the 60 minutes segment on Anderson. If I remember correctly, around that time, he was given a title like "richest rocker" having earned close to a billion dollars in Salmon farming and other investments.

I've always loved Martin Barre's style but my wife is a much bigger Tull fan than I could ever be.
Wear that which you feel is groovy, get down with your bad self, and shake your money maker if it makes sense for you to do so.
