    Watch case-Watch winder - recommendations?

    Guys

I've reached the point where I definitely need to get a watch case, have a number of watches scattered throughout the house, then go to the frenzy of looking for them for whatever occasion...Can I get some recommendations for a watch case, should hold at least a 16-18 watches...

Also need to look at getting a watch winder -Should be able to hold 3 watches...

Comments/suggestions/recommendations are all greatly appreciated on both these topics...:thanks

    Regards,
    GL

This place has a nice variety.

I just ordered my 2nd one of these...

Seems pretty nice, good price and keeps the auto's I have on the winders running nicely. We will see about long term reliability, but I was so pleased with the first one I got, my wife suggested getting a second to help clean up some I still had laying around the bedroom.

for boxes I use this place

for winders I use wolf. also when I get a watch display case I tend to get the handmade ones. the watches get sold, some stay so the collection is always changing. the one thing that stays constant is the watch case. so I get one that will last a lifetime.

I found that some of these watch boxes aren't big enough for some of my watches..
At times the dials touch.. I just keep them in the original boxes..
Winders are a must even though mine is busted!

That is a really good point. I bought the "Vanguard Chrono Case" shown in the jewelryboxdirect link above. The pillows were narrow and so closely spaced together than even my 39-40mm watches come very close to touching each other. They surely would get banged together occasionally under normal use. I think the box must have been designed for women's bracelets or something.
Another thing to look out for with watch boxes is the size of the pillows. If you have skinny wrists, your bracelet watches maybe too small in circumference to fit around the pillows. I would ask the seller for exact dimensions for the pillows.

Our collection sits in 2 Orbita Futura 3 winders. Then our two matching Rolex DJ have their own individual Wolf winders.

I like the design of the Orbita. But the WOLF design winders are nicer, quieter and more options.
