Sorry, but I just have to get this off my chest.
Why do watch designers put together a killer dial, minimalist styling with simple hour
markers, and then feel the need to put a tiny 05, 10, 15...60 at the tip of each marker.
Do they think it makes the dial look better?
Do they think I can't figure out the minutes by myself?
That totally blows the design for me.
OK, time to let my blood pressure drop.
What are your design pet peeves?

Mismatched date wheels really bother me, especially on more expensive watches where there is no excuse for such a design flaw - The current blue Omega SMP and Aqua Terra are pretty much dead to me. Okay, so they didn't want to build a blue date wheel just to use for these models... but black? Why BLACK? There is literally no black on the watch anywhere else - an orange date wheel would make just as much (non)sense as black! Why couldn't they use white, to match the lume on the hour markers? Don't tell me Omega doesn't have any white date wheels kicking around their workshop!

    WHY, OMEGA, WHY?

I hate multiple option date windows. They make it harder to look at the watch and immediately know what date it is, you have to be certain you're looking at the one the arrow is pointing to.
Also if I know what date it is today I'm pretty sure I can figure out on my own what the date was yesterday and what it will be tomorrow.......

Date displays at the 4:30 position, completely killing the balance of the dial. Many, many companies are guilty of that one. This is never preferable to simply not having a date at all!
