    Watch Movement Cufflinks for Christmas!

My girlfriend got me these awesome cufflinks for Christmas. They are made with own Longines movements. Maybe these have been posted on WUS before, but I thought I would share.

I put them right on, along with my vintage Longines, and she took a few pictures. What a sweetie she is to humor my obsession with watches.

I'm happy you like those, but my heart aches when I see these instruments used only as a chunk of metal for jewellery. There are lots of movements being recycled for "steampunk jewellery". To me, it seems like a sacriledge. That's no way for a movement to go. Melt them down, hit them with a hammer, shred them.

Very nice. I have similar ones. They look like the vintage movement cufflinks made by Dan Tannenbaum here in Toronto. I get compliments on them every time I wear them.

Somehow I knew there would be at least one person who felt this was sacrilege... Oh well. I'm happy with the cufflinks and my girl.

At any rate, she got them on this website: Etsy - Your place to buy and sell all things handmade, vintage, and supplies. Just do a search for "watch cufflinks."

If I still wore tailored suits I would wear them without thinking twice.

I would wear them with a nice pair of jeans, a fitted button down shirt, and a well made sports coat. Having those peeking out from my cuff would be awesome. In fact, I may order these:
Allen Edmonds now featuring Tokens & Icons Accessories

Enjoy them, and they are even better that a special person knows you well enough to know that you would surely appreciate them!

Yep these are cool. I also like the cufflinks that look like watch rotors.
