    Watch for my dad. Suggestions!

    Hello all,

I am trying to find a watch for my dad for his birthday, and I think he really likes the styles of an IWC Saxonia.

    SAXONIA: the model versions

Unfortunately, I am not a nice enough of a son to spend that kind of money! So I was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions for a similar style watch in the price range of 1,500-3,000 dollars (pre-owned).

    Thanks!

    Thomas

Two posters beat me to it. Nomos is a good shout.

By the way the Saxonia is by A. Lange and Sohne and not IWC.

    I didn't even notice

Alternatively a vintage omega Seamaster could do the job
