Watch Newbie - Help me find something similar to this...

    Hi guys!

LONG time watch lover! I would sincerely appreciate your advice on a watch. I already own a G-Shock, couple Fossils and a Luminox 3102. Well, the G-shock I am just tired of, the fossils are at end of life (second hand stuck on one of them the other is just beat to hell). My Luminox has had some issues lately. I have had the watch for about 10 years and have it in the shop right now as it just won't keep the correct time. This after two battery replacements and a professional cleaning. They are replacing the movement this week for me. I believe it has a Ronda, they looked it up and said they can order the same movement and replace it for me. Hopefully that will bring the Luminox back to its former glory.

Anyway, that brings me to this...

I LOVE this ESQ Beacon Chrono... (attached)

Don't love that its between 300 - 500 bucks. My wife will literally cut off my junk and stuff it down my own throat if I buy it.

What is there that looks VERY similar to this for 100-150 bucks? Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Welcome! Definitely think the Seiko watches recommended above are a solid choice.

Check out Casio Edifice. They are solidly built and very affordable:

These are non-chronographs and a touch over your budget, but they have the same general look as the ESQ. They are also automatic, if that's something that interests you.

    Here is a Jaragar:

Found it available on the bay:

Just bought my first Jaragar from Amazon and am very pleased with the quality for such as great price!

In this instance I'll go along with the Seikos THS suggested, the SNDA83 in particular. I have a watch with the same movement in it and they're pretty solid performers.
