    Watch rental

I've always wondered about this. If you can rent watches, then you can have different watches every month and gives you a chance to try out different styles.

Wonder has anyone ever tried to set up something like this?

Looks like there are some sites out there where you can do just that. Not my cup of tea though.

I would be extremely stressed out wearing a rented watch.

Wearing a watch that a few dozen people could have sweated up - and paying for the privilege too. Oh yeah, sign me up.

I'm sure they get cleaned in between. Personally it would stress me out though, knowing if I break it, I'd be screwed. Besides, to me a watch requires an emotional connection, but that might just be me.

Sounds cool. I'd rent an Omega PloProf for the day just to check it out.

Then, I'd be on the debt wagon again by buying one if I did that

Watch rentals would be just too dangerous for WISes. We all would be broke, in debt, and sleeping on the couch.

I believe there are high-end supercar clubs that operate in the same way. A member can take an Aston or Ferrari whenever they want, whether it be for a year or a night. Needless to say, these groups are pretty exclusive. I don't see why the same couldn't work for watches.

    lol

It's not something I'd do personally but I can see the attraction for non-WIS's who want to make an impression for a specific occasion.
