    Watch restarting method?

    Hi guys,

Recently I purchased my very first automatic Tissot T-classic(T086.407.11.051.00). And when I woke up today, the watch has stopped working! I have worn the watch everyday and it has worked smoothly. I have tried restarting the watch by winding it and shaking it. But It does not work. Can someone please advice me how I can restart my watch or is it faulty. Appreciate the help.

    Cheers

Did you buy it pre-owned? If so, probably ready for service.

If you wound the watch as much as you can (you can't overwind it) and push the crown in and it does nothing, I'm afraid it's a faulty watch......

If I'm not mistaken your watch has the Powermatic 80 movement in it (I'm often wrong) and mine has not stopped yet so I can't say how easy it should be to start. Generally speaking though my Tissots start working as I take them out of the watchbox so I see no reason why yours should be any different. It sounds poorly to me so send it back.
